Great mini laptop
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This little laptop is great. The pros are that it is small enough to travel with and throw in your purse or bag. It is fast enough, for what I use it for. The keyboard is okay, good travel but it does sound clicky (not the mechanical type). I have had better battery life with other 11 inch laptops for example the ASUS 11". The bottom gets hot at times and the keyboard will get warm too. It isn't that big of a deal, but coming from a laptop that didn't get hot it does take time to get use to. I upgraded my mini laptop to this because this had a little bit more ssd storage than my previous one. I use this daily to do browse on the web, brainstorm, write. I have always been a fan of compact sized tech. As I'm typing this on this device, it is warm against my lap through my scrubs. If only it did not get hot I would have given it 5 stars. But overall a great laptop for on the go.

Small but Mighty
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great little laptop, small enough to fit in a purse, but enough power, speed and space for most projects. The 2 in 1 feature is sturdy and convenient. Definitely worth the price!

Hate It!
||Posted . Owned for 9 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. At the time of this review I have owned this laptop for 10 months. I purchased this laptop for on-the-go use. It was the perfect size for me . To do writing projects and to watch videos. Light use. At first it worked ok after a couple of months it started to overheat and become laggy and slow. The loading speed is horrible. Battery does not last long before you have to charge it. I hate the S mode very restricted. if I had known it was S mode would not have bought it. I have restored the computer twice did not help. Still very slow. If I have to wait 10-15 for the computer to load might as well not even bother. The computer was way over priced. Hate it worst computer ever! I have purchased many HP computers never had one this bad. Very disappointed in HP in this model. I wish I would have saved my money and went with something else. This computer is junk it's pretty much a paper weight.

Q: QuestionBest buy is currently selling two different models of this laptop, the 11m-ap0033dx and the 11m-ap0023dx. Judging from the listed specs, they appear to be identical. What is the difference between these two models?
Asked by DNADoc.
- A:Answer The only two differences I'm seeing is that the 11m-ap0033dx comes with Windows 11 in "S Mode" and a free year of Microsoft 365, while the 11m-ap0023dx has Windows 10 in S Mode and a 30 day trial of Microsoft 365

Q: QuestionIs this like a tablet or is it truly a PC type laptop
Asked by PoseyRosie.
- A:Answer Thank you for your question! This is a 2-in-1 style computer, so you can set it up to operate as either a laptop or a tablet by how far you fold open the screen.

Q: QuestionDoes this laptop have upgradable RAM and SSD? I read that this unit has an M.2 drive inside so I assume I can upgrade the SSD in it? Not sure about the RAM though. Can anyone confirm this? If it can upgrade to 8GB or 16GB (one slot) I'm sold.
Asked by Frank.
- A:Answer It looks like the RAM is not upgradeable. The SSD can be replaced with one with a higher capacity, but because there isn't a second slot on the motherboard, you won't be able to add a second one to the motherboard.

Q: QuestionIs there a HP stylus pen that is compatible with this laptop. If so which one?
Asked by Anonymous.
- A:Answer Yes, either the HP Pen or the HP Tilt Pen will work very well with this laptop

Q: QuestionCan this computer be changed from S Mode to standard mode so that any windows software could be installed?
Asked by JayB.
- A:Answer Yes, it can. Microsoft has the instructions at https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/switching-out-of-s-mode-in-windows-4f56d9be-99ec-6983-119f-031bfb28a307#WindowsVersion=Windows_11

Q: QuestionOnce you fold the laptop, can the keyboard get damaged since it would be used as the platform while using the touch screen?
Asked by dpanuco.
- A:Answer I've owned a couple of HP laptops with the tablet style capability, and I've never had an issue. The keyboard is disabled once it is folded beyond a certain point. As long as you place the laptop on a sturdy/safe surface, you shouldn't be concerned about damaging the keyboard. I've used it on my lap in a bouncing truck, sitting on a table and while laying on the floor without any issues. Just make sure you don't have anything poking the keyboard when it's folded, and you should be fine.

Q: QuestionWill this Laptop run Zoom.
Asked by Marty.
- A:Answer Yes, you should have no problem using Zoom with this laptop.

Q: QuestionDo this computer have a CD drive?
Asked by May.
- A:Answer Unfortunately, it does not-there's just no way to package one and all the other hardware in this size computer. However, you can use an external drive that connects to one of the USB ports.
