Sorry for the confusion. We will update the photo showing the measurements asap. To clarify, the base of the foot of this bench is wider than the bench itself.

The padded bench measures about 11” wide whereas the foot of the bench where it rests on the floor is 18.5” wide.

Little to dislike about this one. I think it will last. 
It doesnt sit perfectly flat because we got one of the bolts  overtight on assembly and it bent the metal around the underside of the footing slightly.

As expected, sturdy and simple

This is a sturdy piece of exercise equipment. Easy to put together with or without instructions. The material is very durable and I haven't had an issue with it. It's doing exactly what I was meant to do.

I use this almost everyday for exercising with barbells - the height is just right, and I can do a variety of exercising using the Weider flat  bench.

Perfect flat bench for weights workouts

So far it’s great! I’ll get that bench for $50! Not as stable as I thought it would be but I love it. I always find my way around making is stable especially when thrusting. Just put it against a wall. Easy to assemble and very comfy! Great purchase! Love it

Usable

I have played high school and college football.  In the process the involvement required me to workout quite a bit.  Now a bit older, I still do what I can to stay fit and healthy.  Although not expensive this bench is sturdy and durable as many I have used.  I am very pleased with the quality this bench provides. I would recommend it to anyone looking for this size bench.

Very Pleased

This is a basic dumbbell bench. I paired it with a CAP 40 pound dumbbell set. I couldn't be happier. I'm tall and this works for me. It came with a workout poster with 24 exercises. Don't throw out the user's manual, it has great workout information in the back. Assembly was quick and easy.

Worst customer service!  I bought this back in October as a Christmas gift for my son. We unboxed in March when his room was set up for workouts. He tried putting it together and they sent the wrong piece.  I had to make 2 emails for them to respond to me, and then they kept saying it was out of warranty. I told them this isn't a warranty issue, this is negligence in the packing of their own product… several emails later they are just repeating themselves about the warranty.  I have to buy the replacement leg extra because they sent the wrong part. Never took ownership of their mistake just blamed me for not opening it Sooner. The picture is of the two legs they sent for this bench. They would rather have a poor review: and an extremely unhappy customer. Again, not in one of their emails did they apologize for their poor quality control.  Just blamed me.

Wrong pieces packaged and they don't care

I will leave another review after we try out the bench...BUT for now this is not about the product, but rather the delivery from Fed Ex. I can't understand why WM uses this service.  They left my package out in the rain when a few more feet it was dry, they always do this.  They also lied and said it was left on the front porch.  Will definitely limit my orders through WM because of this.  Please look at using a different shipping company. You can't even leave them a review like the professionals from UPS
