WORKS PERFECTLY!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My aux end broke off inside the port, leaving me unable to retrieve it and (more importantly) unable to stream my music. Aside of getting a new car radio, I decided to get the Anker and I'm so glad that I did. I can still stream my music, the sound is pretty darn good (once you find a decent station w/o much static) and the ease of the charging port keeps me charged up and rolling along, jamming to my music. Glad this works for me! SO GLAD!!!

A good replacement for a previous model.
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased the Anker F2 as a replacement for a lost F0 model. The F2 performed well, and was able to provide a near-zero millisecond FM broadcast to my vehicle's head unit. The F2's FM signal generator seems a little more susceptible to interference from outside FM broadcasting. I have to change the broadcast station more often on the F2 than I did on the F0 model. I have not used the F2's location tracking and battery monitoring abilities yet.

Old car / new solution Blu-tooth connectivity
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I needed a way to listen to my music in my older truck .This unit worked right out of the box. Plugged it into my cigarette lighter tuned my radio to the designated frequency on the FM tuner which by the way you can use alternative frequencies if you are experiencing cross talk from a nearby station . It connected to my blu tooth with a verbal connection which is way cool and I was off to listening to my music . The only thing I wished it had was a on / off button so I don’t have to keep pulling it out of the socket as cigarette lighters in vehicles are usually live power all the time. Great unit would buy again . The cost was right on the mark . Thank you Justin

Works well where there’s good radio signal
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Just purchased an older model sedan for my teenage driver that only had radio and CD. There was no aux connection to allow him to have hands-free driving or connect his streaming music. I don’t want him to be fussing with knobs while driving. This device has a low profile and worked very well right out of the package. It was so simple to set up. My only negative is there can tend to be static on the line at times and the signal can be lost if driving in rural areas where there are dead zones. Otherwise great product! I like that his phone doesn’t have to be set up again every time he gets in the car. Just bought a second one for my brother-in-law…

Q: QuestionWhat exactly does this device do as the description is fuzzy?
Asked by texasStrong.
- A:Answer I use it to play Spotify, Pandora or even YouTube playlist through my car stereo. It’s EXTREMELY easy to use and I can also use the USB ports to charge two devices at once. All you do is plug it in to the cigarette lighter and a station will show on it’s little screen, turn your car stereo to that station and turn on the Bluetooth on your phone. Your phone will find the device and a voice will come over your car speakers saying “successful pairing”. Then anything you wanna play from your phone now come through your car stereo, including phone calls. Essentially it turns your car stereo into a giant Bluetooth Speaker. Really great for road trips though rural areas with limited local radio stations, or for people with eclectic musical tastes. I HIGHLY recommend this product!

Q: QuestionThis sounds perfect, but what if I want to use it for just handsfree calling. Can I have it plugged in and still listen to my regular radio stations?
Asked by NewTech19.
- A:Answer Sort of.. because the only way it's paired is if you put it on the same radio station as what is listed on the Bluetooth receiver. So if you got a call, you'd have to change the radio station to those numbers. For instance, I have ours on a dedicated channel of 107.5. I also have that set on my car radio as a preset. It's easy enough to have it paired, then change channels, then if you get a phone call, just switch it to the same numbers. In my instance, 107.5..

Q: QuestionCan u play usb music
Asked by Coo.
- A:Answer Yes, but only in port 2 which is the bottom one. The top port is for charging only. The usb drive has to be formatted in one of the following formats: FAT, FAT32, or exFAT. The following are playable media file types: .mp3, .wma, .flac, and .wav The Bluetooth version is 4.2 and works flawlessly with my new iPhone XS Max.

- A:Answer Press and hold the center button and you’ll notice the radio station changing on the Roav! Pick a station that’s clear, so you can listen clear music or radio through your phone

Q: QuestionDoes this drain the car battery? I took my keys with me and I was still connected to bluetooth. The next day my battery died.. i'm not sure if that's just a coincidence or was my anker actually was still able to pull on the battery.
Asked by Davy.
- A:Answer If your cigarette lighter/aux power doesn't require the ignition to be on then yes it will draw power on your battery. It's going to be constantly searching for a device to pair to. Would think the draw is low but I always unplug mine when I'm done driving for the day.

Q: QuestionWhen answering a phone call do I have to tune to a specific station to take the call?
Asked by Ruse.
- A:Answer You have to be tuned in to the same station that you use for Bluetooth. For the Bluetooth and calls to work you have to be on the same station that the device is on.

Q: QuestionWould this device allow me to stream my iPhone in my 2005 Toyota 4-runner?
Asked by Jack.
- A:Answer Yes, Jack. Simply plug the device into your cigarette lighter and tune your radio station to the same frequency. All you have left to do is turn on the WiFi or blue-tooth for your iPhone and bingo - you've got iPhone music through your Toyota. It is very simple.
