Overall a good head unit
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Nice quality sounding unit even on factory speakers. I'm about to install new speakers and it should really sound amazing then. This stereo has lots of sound tweeks. I spent 30 minutes tinkering with it to get it sounding good. Easy to install and the parking brake switch can be wired to the ground wire to make dvd's play. Just don't watch while driving of coarse. My gripes with this unit are, the speed of the user interface. It is slow to browse files on usb drive displaying "please wait" when scrolling through each page of folders or files. Menus for settings are a bit slow to load as well. It took two minutes to load a dvd before it started playing. I put the car in reverse one day while the usb drive was still loading, which activated the backup camera and when the song played it started cutting in and out. I skipped up a track and it was fine. My thought is that the processor in this unit is not very fast, but still is capable if you don't overwhelm it. For the price it is everything I need.

Awesome but needs more
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Has awesome features..the best are bluetooth connections and spotify connections..love having my music available anytime..and love the equalizer and DB HRTZ & 3 way Crossover...absolutely makes this worth it The worst is that the USB doesn't play my flash drive .even when formatted. also doesnt play burned dvds..i burned them cause flashdrive didnt work then that also didnt work..so very disappointed.. Also doesnt mirror..but i was able to get mirroring adapter that plugs into the AV IN ..BUT HAD TO SPEND MORE $ ON IT..SO NOT HAPPY.. But overall...very happy...just wouldve bought the mirroring model instead dvd model cause the burned dvd issue and usb issue. Would reccomend though...

Good Car Audio System for Older Person
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This wasn't a fancy audio system because, frankly, my husband couldn't learn how to operate it without killing himself running off the road. It does sound great, and the touchscreen is easy for him to use. After customizing the home screen for him, operation is super easy! Geek Squad did a great job installing it. Overall, I am very pleased with the system and the polite, knowledgeable guy who installed it. Great experience!

Excellent upgrade from stock
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have had this head unit a little over a month now and am very pleased with it. For under $200 it is a great bang for your buck. If you are in the market for a double din touchscreen head unit with all needed apps, backup camera ready and can play DVDs, this is a perfect match. For an added bonus it has motion controls on screen which allow quick function ( swipe left to go back a track, right to go forward and circle right or left to raise and lower the volume). It is packed full of options for sound quality also. EQ and sound processor are built in.

Q: QuestionI have read some complaints that the screen is difficult to view during the day. Is this common to all owners of this car stereo? Is anyone happy with screen visibility during the day? How about screen visibility at night?
Asked by BillBill.

Q: QuestionDoes the hands-free calling feature, as well as the other operations, connect to my steering wheel control button?
Asked by steve.
- A:Answer Hi Steve, I did not know this, but it would have been an extra $130 to connect the stereo to my steering wheel. I did not go with it, but the option is there, but is an extra cost that I was not aware of when I purchased the radio.

Q: QuestionIt shows this will fit in a 2001 F350. The opening in the dash of the truck is 7 3/8” wide and 4” tall. This radio is 6.2” wide and not sure how tall. Does it have a fill plate for the additional space or is it taller than 4”?
Asked by Brad.
- A:Answer What's going to happen is that they're going to make you buy the fill that will normally cost around 16-19usd, sadly this doesn't come with anything other than the product you see is all you get.
