    These work excellently
So after too many years I got around to installing a TV and some audio on our patio. I did my research, and believe me there are almost too many options for these types of adapters out there. The price range is also as vast. My set up is a relatively current Marantz AVR and I have a pair of Definitive Technologies outdoor speakers and a Vizio P55-C1 flat panel TV. These components are set up on my "Zone 2" output on my Marantz. I have a short 3 foot 4K certified HDMI cable going from the Marantz into the first adapter. I then ran a 100" Cat6 cable from there up into the roof and then out to the patio. The other end of the Cat 6 cable is then plugged into the second adapter with a 3 foot 4K Certified HDMI cable into the TV. With this set up we are able to watch regular cable/satellite TV, our Roku, Blu-Rays from our various disc players, basically anything I have hooked up to the Marantz. Once I had these installed I ran a series of tests. Regular cable/satellite worked fine. As you may know regular broadcast TV is most of the time 720P or 1080i at most. The adapters worked fine. I then put a Blu-Ray 1080P movie in and ran that out to the TV. It looked stunning. Next for the test I queued up an HDR 4K Blu-Ray from my Oppo UDP-205. Now I did not run a "Cat6E" shielded style cable so I did not expect this to work. It worked flawlessly and looked incredible. In the many months I have had these I have only had Zero issues. Also I think I read somewhere on someone's review that these do not pass sound. That is incorrect they do pass audio as well. I have tested this only for the reason to verify as all of my audio passes through the Marantz receiver.A couple of points to make sure you know up front. Each adapter requires electricity so be aware of that. You will have to have an electrical outlet near both. For the "Output" side this will most likely not be a problem as it will be somewhere near all of your main viewing room equipment. For the end receiving unit you will also need to have electricity available for the second unit. The second is be sure to know these work in a "One way" style connection strategy. What I mean by this is that they are "One way" as the "First" unit "Receives" the HDMI signal. The first one has the HDMI "In" and it then "Outputs" the signal to the Cat6 cable. The Cat6 cable then carries the video/audio signal to the "Input" of the second unit. This unit then takes the signal "From" the Cat6 cable and then "Outputs" it to the HDMI cable to go to the end source. One more point. Although I did not use Cat6E cable it would be my recommendation for you to. As this is a shielded cable you will be able to get the best performance out of these adapters. For you installation both have "Mounting Brackets". Keep this in mind on the signal end adapter. I was easily able to mount the second unit on our patio wall behind the TV.Don't spend more money on other adapters. These are excellent and with my set-up I am able to play full bandwidth 4K HDR signal. I have verified this by reviewing the input data on my TV while viewing 4K HDR discs. These will absolutely work for you and mine have been 100% reliable since I installed them.

1.0 out of 5 stars Not practical, only extends 4K with point-to-point cable
Reviewed in the United States on November 16, 2021
We tried extending over 146 ft cabling that certifies to commercial Gb standard with patch cables in place and the device does not work.

The description claims it can extend 4K up to 200 ft, but you have to have a "point-to-point" cable, so typical commercial horizontal runs that terminate in-wall and use patch cables for hardware connections won't work for this device.

Other brand 4K extenders do not seem to suffer from this issue, and some allow multiple receivers to connect to a single transmitter.
