Wish it did a better variety of colors when using hue sync for PC. Only does "groups" of colors to music and you can choose 4 different groups. Otherwise it's very bright and colorful. Setup was fairly easy but it legitimately took 2 days for it to update the strips firmware.

In a new light UPDATED
I haven’t been entirely enamored with LEDs given the unfortunate range of warm whites they emit. The HUE strip, in my case hidden atop an eight foot half wall, has quite a range of color, including some good whites, that bounce off the ceiling above. With bridge it performs its duties seamlessly and will fade on or off in 10 to 60 minutes to start and end the day. This is part of a larger homekit system I have cobbled together mostly from ebay. The prices are acceptable this way and rewards greater for performing additional research. I’ll add more in time. In 11 months time, part of the light strip is barely lit and not the same colors.

Love it. Stuck to the back of my 65 inch with hue sync running on my htpc synced with my other 4 hue bulbs in the room too... Can't be beat. Love to play games with the setup too. This strip is much brighter than expected. The only complaint I have is curving it on the back of the TV was not as easy as I hoped, had to add tape. Highly recommend!
