no it does not have anywhere to put training wheels. If your child is older than three I would go with one of the bigger models that the bike go from no pedals to being able to put on pedals and training wheels

I assume tires are solid as they do not have tubes

The hard tires are durable but lack the traction and grip of a rubber pneumatic tire. For a 1st trainer bike the hard tires are sufficient and will hold up well.

Hi Liz: The Model #800 Glide & Go Balance Bike has 12" wheels.

I do not know the Tire size, But I do the tires are Plastic. They are not "real" Bicycle tires. I assume this goes with the "balance" Part of the bike

This bike is really wonderful. Since we have bought it for my two year old he wants to ride it all the time. I would deffinatly reccomend it to a friend. It is a very durable bike. It is also very light so it is easy for them to pick up on their own. It is a little small. I would not reccomend for a child that is older than three.

Awesome bike

After looking at reviews of other balance bikes, we decided to get this one for our three year old granddaughter. The price was reasonable, and we have purchased other Radio Flyer products that have held up well. It arrived at the Walmart store on the day stated, and was easy to put together. It fit our granddaughter well on the lowest seat setting. This will give her some growing room. GrandmaPT

Great balance bike for a three year old.

My grandson is three and absolutely loves this bike and matching helmet. His favorite color is red and fell in love with it immediately. The bell on the handle bars is so cute and enjoys ringing it.
