It is a great coffee machine and let you choose whether you want to brew a whole pot, half pot, travel mug or coffee mug. The whole pot is 43 fl oz, the half pot is 21.5 oz. You can fill the water to the top but if you select smaller brewing size, the machine will stop and leave you water for the next round of brewing. Our family morning coffee requirement somewhat falls between 21.5 and 43 fl oz. The way to get around it is filling the waterline to in between full and half, then using full pot brewing solution. The coffee is stronger than our old machine, so experiments it first.

It is a drip coffee maker and as such, it does pretty much as well as any drip coffee maker. It does look cool on the kitchen counter! The aeropress makes a comparable cup of coffee. The key is in the quality of the ground coffee going into the system. No coffee maker can extract good flavor from an inferior roast!

I have wanted this model for a very long time. The design is great! I don't have to fill the carafe and then dump water into the brewer to make a pot of coffee. The water well is easy to remove and fill. I love the options to brew a cup, a travel cup or an entire carafe.

I love the versatility of this thing and the fact that you can make all sorts of different drinks with it. Anything from a plain cup of joe to your favorite coffee shop, barista-made beverage. Plus, the thermal carafe is worth it's weight in gold. Keeps coffee hot with no external heat source.

SO much stuff haven't tried everything yet. Only problem: The carafe dribbles on both sides of its spout as the carafe is emptied. Haven't identified the cause: Possibly the plastic ring for the carafe-lid (h) or carafe lid curvature.
