Other than being sure that you know you'll have to buy a permanent filter separately or have those disposable kind on hand, there is absolutely nothing wrong with this refurbished coffee maker, and you'll save a lot of money versus buying a new Cuisinart. The filter part was my fault, as the ad clearly stated this, and I got one the next day for about 7 dollars on Amazon. Great design, easy to use, easy to break down for cleaning. It even came with a water filter pack.

This is a good coffee maker. It makes great coffee. The only thing is the listing states it comes with a metal coffee filter. The refurbished models do not come with one. It states it on the manual.

No permanent gold tone filter was included with my purchase. Until I find my old filter in storage, I have to brew coffee with no such filter. It makes a mess but the coffee maker itself is one of the very best I have ever. The coffee is the best and when this one is no longer functioning, I will order a new one with a permanent filter.
