First time Asus buyer, this Rig Strix is comparable in quality to my Sony Vaio. Perfect in every way, much better than the descriptions and reviews I read online before purchasing. This laptop is fast and beautiful plus it has a slot to add/upgrade with M.2 SSD !!!

It comes today and looks great, but just having issue logging in, a new laptop is locked with password i dont understand. it is great laptop , run smoothly, little bit slow when opening disks. I also spend 5hours to fix the problem that came with the "new" laptop which need me to reinstall system and ask asus support. but overall a great laptop for gaming.

The product had a couple minor flaws. The biggest being the keyboard lighting did not work. Tried resolving myself, using Asus self help, and finally calling Asus tech support. No resolution was found. I now have to send in the laptop to Asus to fix the issue. 10-12 days with no laptop. Other than that? A 16 gig 7 lb laptop for $1000??? That's a steal
